The Night Before Death

 

Twas the night before the guild would invade the Orc Fort. Great worry grew on the face of the guildmates even Seth who was suppost to be calm due to the fact that he was a guild leader. It was one hour after nightfall and Seth had called a guild meeting.

About tommorow said Seth, Calos will be stopping by the villa to give us a rune to the exact location we are to recall to. From there are orders are to kill anything that even resembles Orc. We are to recall at exactly noon. Bell's shall be played in every city but Cove and they will be loud enough for us to hear. We half to be there 2 minutes after the bells start playing and we must try to make this a quick as possible mission. Also be aware that there are Xal Nog inside. No one knows how many. Could be 1, could be all. Also are orders is to try and get inside. Please do not go inside alone infact make sure half the damm army goes with you. The mages will be casting fire ball spells at any location possible but I imagine that this fortress will not be too easy to cath fire.

Lets all get some rest before we go tommorow.

Scott walked up to Kathrine sitting on the steps listening to the meeting. I wish I could help said Kathrine. I know I wish you could help too said Scott, but you cannot risk the life of the child. You must stay here. I know, but what if you die the child wont have a father since John died.

I am sure you can find a nice responsible man said Scott, I am sorry but I will do my best not to die. I want to be this child's father more than anything but duty calls.

Scott walked over to Caend, this is your first big battle and I know for a fact you are not ready said Scott.

Well thanks for the re-insurance said Caend.

But either was I for my first battle, mine was back when the undead invaded Britian. I saved Falcons life but at the same time I nearly spent eternity in the darkness.

You don't want to know said Scott, just remember should the arrows start flying get your shield up. Don't spend to long on one Orc and for god sakes do not get cocky. I've seen people have there head's taken off due to the fact that they got cocky. Good luck and may both of us live to see better days.

1000 men against probably 7000 Orcs, yes I would imagine that we are going to be dieing.

You know what said Falcon, I really cared for John, he was like a brother to me, but I dont want to join him. I am far to young to die.

We all are said Scott, keep a good thought while going in we may just pull out of this one alive.

I doubt it said Falcon, but I will try to keep a good thought and so should you, your a mighty depressed looking guy these days.

You dont look depressed at all said Scott.

I am, but I am trying to keep a positive thought, maybe we will live, I sure hope so said Wartooth.

Well, if it isnt the big bad warrior laughed Destiny, how many Orc heads are you going to take home tommorow.

Aye, get some rest though, rest is the key to surviving a battle and you want plenty of it.
